I enjoyed discovering the world of mashups. One of my favorites was SeatSnapper.com. This site searches over 2,000,000 listings for concerts, sporting events, and theater, including those with Ebay and ticket brokers. You can search by artist, event, venue, team, zip code, location etc. Once you find the event you want results are displayed on over 2,000 interactive seating maps. Tickets can then be purchased directly from the site. Even if you don't purchase tickets through this site you still have access to all of the seating diagrams.
