For years I fought the digital camera. I had a great Cannon 35 mm camera that I used for a very long time. I loved that old camera - film and all. People kept telling me how great digital cameras were but the idea just didn't click for me.
A few years ago I finally succumbed and bought my first digital camera. I now know what all the fuss was about. Digital cameras are one of the greatest technological advances out there - and they're so much fun! How could I have been so hesitant to get in the game? I love being able to snap a picture and then instantly see the results. No more developing bad or unwanted photos. You can do so much with your camera and computer - the possibilities are endless. There's a lot that I can still learn about digital cameras but at least I'm on the right track.

Thing 6
I enjoyed discovering the world of mashups. One of my favorites was SeatSnapper.com. This site searches over 2,000,000 listings for concerts, sporting events, and theater, including those with Ebay and ticket brokers. You can search by artist, event, venue, team, zip code, location etc. Once you find the event you want results are displayed on over 2,000 interactive seating maps. Tickets can then be purchased directly from the site. Even if you don't purchase tickets through this site you still have access to all of the seating diagrams.

Thing 5
I had a lot of fun with Thing 5. It was challenging for me at times but I was able to get help from some of my computer savvy coworkers.
Conneaut Harbor Lighthouse
I found this picture on Flickr. I can't believe someone else actually know's where this town is! This lighthouse sits at the entrance to Conneaut Harbor on Lake Erie. The lighthouse is no longer occupied but the light still guides ships into the harbor - especially the large iron ore boats. This picture shows a calm day on the lake but the weather can turn on a dime. It is not uncommon to see 8 ft waves pound the shore.

Thing 4
After the nice, long holiday break I was finally able to complete Thing 4. And now, onto Thing 5!
